Mango Municipal Corporation (MMC) has initiated a comprehensive cleanliness campaign in preparation for the upcoming Eid, Ramnavmi, Chhath, and Sarhul festivals.
JAMSHEDPUR – In anticipation of the forthcoming Eid, Ramnavmi, Chhath, and Sarhul celebrations, the Mango Municipal Corporation (MMC) has embarked on a comprehensive cleanliness drive.
The campaign’s primary focus is on ensuring the thorough cleaning of Chhath Ghats, mosques, main roads, and streets throughout the city.
To guarantee the effectiveness of the cleaning activities, supervisors have been deployed to maintain strict oversight and ensure that no area is overlooked.
The MMC has placed special emphasis on cleaning the surroundings of mosques and madrassas, recognizing their significance during the festive period.
In addition to the cleanliness efforts, the corporation is also undertaking inspections and repairs of high mast lights and street lights.

The Additional Municipal Commissioner has issued directives to accelerate the pace of cleanliness efforts and repair works, emphasizing the importance of completing these tasks during the festival period.
To facilitate timely repairs of street lights and high mast lights, the MMC has initiated night patrols.
These patrols have already yielded positive results, with a significant number of lights being restored, minimizing inconvenience to the public and ensuring a smoother festival experience.
