JAMSHEDPUR – A Half Marathon held on Sunday captivated Jamshedpur, uniting citizens in an event aimed at health awareness and community bonding.
The Half Marathon began at 6 a.m., with participants running a 21.1 km route. Other categories included 10 km, 5 km, and 2 km races, ensuring inclusion across ages and fitness levels. Professional runners, children, and senior citizens enthusiastically embraced the challenge.
Tata Steel played a pivotal role as the chief supporter. Its Managing Director, TV Narendran, not only attended but participated, encouraging others to embrace health. "This event inspires fitness while fostering community unity," he remarked. Senior Tata Steel officials were also present, joining the celebration of health and teamwork.
Women and children shone in the event, showcasing energy and determination. Students from schools, colleges, and sports institutions across Jamshedpur added vibrancy, completing the runs with zeal.
