Home Guard jawans posted at Sadar Hospital in Jamshedpur Protest over Unpaid Salaries

Home Guard jawans posted in Sadar Hospital in Jamshedpur meet civil surgeon to discuss pending salary issues.

JAMSHEDPUR – The Home guard jawans posted at Sadar Hospital, Khas Mahal, Jamshedpur are facing dire circumstances due to the non-payment of their salaries for the past six months.

This severe delay in payments has caused them and their families to struggle to meet their basic needs.

In response to this pressing issue, a delegation from the home guard jawans met with Civil Surgeon Jujhar Manjhi to discuss their salary-related concerns.

They urged the official to take prompt action regarding their situation.

Currently, 42 male and female jawans are stationed at the Civil Surgeon Office and Sadar Hospital in Khas Mahal.

In other hospitals and institutions, salaries for the home guards have been paid through outsourcing.

In the past, salaries for members stationed at Khas Mahal’s Sadar Hospital were also outsourced.

However, the recent withholding of salaries by the department for the last six months has raised questions about the department’s operational style.

Despite numerous attempts at correspondence, the salary issue remains unresolved.

Driven to desperation, the home guards met with the civil surgeon and urged his immediate intervention to solve their salary payment issue.

The civil surgeon has reassured them that their concerns will be addressed as soon as possible.
