JCAPCPL Workers Union sees R Ravi Prasad and Shahnawaz Alam elected as President and Executive President respectively.

JAMSHEDPUR – The JCAPCPL Workers Union, the recognized union of JCAPCPL, a joint venture between Tata Steel and Nippon Steel, has concluded its election process with significant developments in its leadership.

R Ravi Prasad has been elected as the President, and Shahnawaz Alam has secured the position of Executive President for the third consecutive term.

The election process saw a unanimous co-opting of both office bearers following the election of committee members.

Subsequently, the positions of Chairman and Working Chairman were filled.

The committee member election witnessed active participation, with Manish Kumar Gupta, Mandapati Chiranjeevi, Pradmun Kumar, Sanjeev Kumar Mahato, Madan Lal Pardeshi Nishad, and Krishna Mohan Singh being elected.

Ravi Kumar was previously declared elected unopposed.

The election process was jointly overseen by Tata Steel committee member Dharmendra Upadhyay, Sinter Plant committee member Avinash Singh, and Hot Strip committee member Amandeep, serving as returning officers.

Election Officer Dharmendra Kumar Upadhyay was responsible for the vote count and the announcement of winners, followed by the distribution of certificates.
