He highlighted the need for the automation of the university library, suggesting an immediate workshop for newly enrolled women students to enhance their library utilization skills.

Rai emphasized the importance of an engaging and frequently updated website, likening it to a drawing room of the university. A key focus was on research and innovation, advocating for a conducive environment where faculty and female students are continuously prepared for the same.

He discussed governance, leadership, and management, highlighting that attention to minute details through robust leadership and management can help achieve larger objectives. He stressed on revisions to the educational environment, teaching methodologies, and classroom procedures.

Rai linked teaching, learning, and student support with learning outcomes. He affirmed that education is a result of the collaboration between the teacher and the student, hence, student support is vital for successful learning.

Addressing co-curricular activities, Rai stressed the importance of a balance between sports and academics. He advocated for workshops on theatre and performing arts in collaboration with NSD and FTII, aiming to provide a conducive platform for female students.

In a bid to strive for excellence in all the outlined areas, Rai presented two formulas: communication equals communication, and collaboration equals cooperation.
