Empowerment Through Education: New Certificate Courses Aimed at Enhancing Employability for Women

Jamshedpur Women’s University has initiated enrollment for its one-year certificate courses starting March, focusing on providing employment-oriented education to female students. Vice Chancellor Dr. Anjila Gupta highlighted the university’s commitment to empowering girl students through various certificate courses, with enrollment open until April 30. The selected candidates will be announced in the first week of April, fostering opportunities for women to advance their careers.

JAMSHEDPUR – The enrollment process for one-year certificate courses at Jamshedpur Women’s University commenced this March, targeting the academic and professional advancement of girl students.

Dr. Anjila Gupta, the Vice Chancellor, emphasized the university’s dedication to offering employment-oriented education.

Various certificate courses have been introduced to pave the way for a brighter future for female students.

The university has set a deadline of April 30 for the enrollment process, with the list of selected candidates expected in the first week of April.

A financial incentive of Rs 3000 per session and Rs 500 monthly has been allocated for the girl students, reflecting the university’s support towards their education.

Among the new courses, an Artificial Intelligence program is available for those with a background in MCA/BCA or who have scored at least 45% in related B.Sc programs.

The Post Graduate Commerce Department has launched courses in Digital Marketing Art and Event Management, open to final-year undergraduates and postgraduates in Science and Commerce with a minimum of 45% marks.

A GST course is also on offer, along with Food Micro Biology and other specialized programs in Biotech, Forensic Science, Agriculture, Plant Tissue Culture, and even Guitar (Spanish) and Kathak by the Post Graduate Music Department.

The Undergraduate Zoology Department introduces a Sericulture course, catering to students across Arts, Science, and Commerce with at least 45% marks in their last semester.

This suite of courses showcases Jamshedpur Women’s University’s effort to enhance the employability and skills of women, ensuring they are well-prepared for their future endeavors.
