Ranchi-Howrah Vande Bharat Express Via Tatanagar All Set to Benefit Businesses and Students

The new Ranchi-Howrah Vande Bharat Express, routed via Tatanagar, promises punctual services, aiding students and businesses.

JAMSHEDPUR – Sanjay Seth, Member of Parliament, has signaled the prospect of a new, beneficial Vande Bharat express train service from Ranchi to Howrah via Tatanagar.

After witnessing the success of the Ranchi-Patna Vande Bharat Express route, the lawmaker has set his sights on implementing the Ranchi-Howrah Vande Bharat Express train.

This anticipated train service on the Howrah line is expected to be a boon for many, particularly students and businessmen who rely heavily on promptness to accomplish their tasks.

Sources reveal that the proposed train is scheduled to depart from Ranchi at 5:20 AM, reaching Howrah at 11:55 AM, providing a total travel time of 6 hours and 25 minutes.

The return journey from Howrah is slated for a 3:30 PM departure, arriving back in Ranchi at 10:10 PM.

Before reaching its final destination in Howrah, the express train will make stops at several stations including Muri, Jhalda, Purulia, Barabhum, Tatanagar, Ghatshila, Chakulia, and Kharagpur.

While specific pricing details remain confidential, early reports suggest a roughly 30% higher cost compared to conventional trains.

The Railway Board, however, has announced a reduction of up to 25% for AC Chair Car and Executive Class tickets on many Vande Bharat trains, indicating the final ticket structure will be determined based on received feedback.

Indian Railway authorities have revealed that the route for the Ranchi-Howrah Vande Bharat Express train, set to pass through Tatanagar, has been finalized by the Indian Railway Time-Table Committee.

This proposal is now pending approval from the Ministry of Railways.

Following this approval, the official commencement date and time for the train service will be announced.
