Bhaiyo aur Bahano, PM will address the nation at 5 p.m.

Nothing to worry though, focus most likely to be on vaccination

Kashmir, Bengal too remain possible topics

New Delhi: The Prime Minister Narendra Modi will address the nation at 5 p.m. His office has made the announcement today. He is likely to dwell upon the fight against Covid-19 and vaccination plans. However, something related to Kashmir or West Bengal being discussed too cannot be completely discounted either.

A few portals have reported large troop movements in Kashmir. However, government sources have discounted it saying that these troops were only returning from the states where elections were held recently. However, there are many who feel that some policy announcement relating to J&K too may be on the anvil.

West Bengal too remains a possible topic. The post-poll violence in West Bengal continues as one more BJP worker lost his life in a bomb attack.

Although, there were many who expressed concern and even joked at yet another announcements with long-term consequences on the lines of demonetisation, there were many who felt that the focus is likely to remain on the fight back against covid and the vaccination plans.

There were many who felt relieved that he is addressing the nation at 5 p.m. and not at 8 p.m. as he had done a few times earlier with some stern decisions.

There were many who also took the opportunity to make asides and crack jokes.

Narendra Modi is known for making direct communication with masses. He has made some dramatic announcements in his previous few direct addresses to the nation.
