Police issue notice to Faraz Khan, accused in Ajay Sao alias Tinku’s shooting

Sonari police have issued a surrender notice to Faraz Khan, a key suspect in the Ajay Sao murder case, giving him three days to turn himself in.

JAMSHEDPUR – Sonari police have issued a notice to Faraz Khan, an accused in the Ajay Sao murder case, demanding his surrender within three days.

The notice was prominently displayed on Khan’s residence and in the Azadnagar market.

Sub-Inspector Hariodh Karmali, leading the investigation, warned of property attachment if Khan fails to comply within 30 days.

Ajay Sao, also known as Tinku, was fatally shot near Sonari C Road while buying milk at a local shop.

The attack was allegedly carried out by members of Manish Singh’s gang from Jugsalai.

A case was registered against nine individuals following a statement from the deceased’s wife.

The police have already filed a charge-sheet implicating 17 people in the crime.

Two suspects, Md Nadeem and Jiyar Jai, were previously arrested and jailed on August 4.

First Class Judicial Magistrate Sushila Soreng’s court issued the notice for Khan, who has been evading arrest.

This public notice serves as a final opportunity for Faraz Khan to surrender to authorities.
