Rotary Club of Jamshedpur West Holds 45th Installation Ceremony
The Rotary Club of Jamshedpur West welcomed new members and leadership during their 45th installation ceremony held at a local hotel.
JAMSHEDPUR – On Friday, the Rotary Club of Jamshedpur West held their 45th installation ceremony for the Rotary year 2023-24.
The event, which took place at a local hotel, featured Vice President of Raw Materials of Tata Steel, DB Sundara Ramam, as the guest speaker.
Neeta Agarwal assumed the role of president following the conclusion of Ashok Jha’s term as club secretary. Newly elected executive committee members were also inducted during the ceremony.
Rotary International aims to improve the world through service in the fields of health, education, and the environment.
Its overarching objective is to assist those in need in becoming active, contributing members of society.
Tokens of appreciation were presented to the Rotarians by the chief guest, and the outgoing district governor, Rotarian Pratim Banerjee, introduced the new members.
DB Sundara Ramam, the keynote speaker, commended the Rotary Club’s efforts across various sectors and recognized the organization’s essential role in the contemporary world.
During the 2022-23 Rotary year, the Rotary Club of Jamshedpur West was awarded the district’s Best Club title.
In their respective addresses, newly elected President Neeta Agarwal and Secretary Ashok Jha provided an overview of the planned activities for the forthcoming year.
Rotarian Amresh Sinha, who had previously served as president, presided over the installation ceremony.
