JAMSHEDPUR – The Rotary Club of Jamshedpur West has taken a significant step forward in community development by signing a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with local leaders to begin developmental projects in Gareya Khocha village.
President Neeta Agarwal and village Mukhiya Bhim Singh Munda formalized the agreement, which targets crucial improvements within the village.
Anjani Nidhi announced the partnership, highlighting Rotary International’s ongoing commitment to humanitarian service.
The development initiatives include the installation of water supply equipment, honoring Rotary founder Paul Harris and improving villagers’ access to clean water.
The MoU signing was celebrated with traditional folk music and dance by the villagers, symbolizing their active participation and optimism for the future.
During the ceremony, DG Bagaria, Assistant Governor Anjani Nidhi, and other Rotarians distributed essentials to the villagers, reinforcing the spirit of community support.
