State Bank of India Celebrates 100th Foundation Day with Blood Donation Camp
Marking its 100th foundation day, the State Bank of India in Jamshedpur organized a one-day blood donation camp involving both bank personnel and customers.
JAMSHEDPUR – Today, the State Bank of India (SBI), one of the country’s leading banks, is celebrating its 100th foundation day, which also coincides with Bank Day.
In Jamshedpur, a one-day blood donation camp was organized by SBI to mark the occasion.
Bank personnel, as well as customers, participated in the blood donation camp.
Bank union leader Rintu Rajak informed that on every Bank Day, SBI organizes a blood donation camp.
However, due to the Corona pandemic, the camp had not been held for the past two years.
He mentioned that the blood collected at the camp would be made available to workers and the general public.
Rajak emphasized that SBI operates not just for business, but also for societal benefits.
Senior bank officials inaugurated the camp and encouraged the blood donors who came to participate in this noble cause.
