ICC Workers Union Commemorates Labor Day with Blood Donation and Tributes

On International Labor Day, the ICC Workers Union office in Moubhandar hosted a blood donation event, collecting 60 units of blood to aid local hospitals.

JAMSHEDPUR – The ICC Workers Union marked International Labor Day with a significant contribution to community health through a blood donation camp.

The event was launched with a ribbon-cutting ceremony led by ICC Deputy General Manager Deepak Srivastava, alongside notable figures including Shravan Kumar Jha, Jajnesh Prasad Mishra, and union leaders BN Singhdeo, Om Prakash Singh, and Naval Singh.

Throughout the day, a total of 60 units of blood were successfully collected, directly supporting the region’s healthcare needs.

Contributors to the blood drive were recognized and appreciated with bouquets, underlining the value of their generous donations.

Union officials also hosted a tribute to Shaheed Bedi, honoring his memory with a garland-laying ceremony at his statue within the union premises.

The event was well attended by union members and officials, including Vice President Mahmood Ali, Joint Secretary Jayant Upadhyay, and others, demonstrating strong community and leadership support.
