Jamshedpur – Tata Motors, Jamshedpur plant, will observe an unexpected holiday on June 24, a Saturday.

The company will resume normal operations on the following day, June 25, a Sunday.

The company’s management has circulated an official notification concerning this matter.

The memo highlights that the day-off on June 24 is a recompense for the work conducted on April 30, a usually non-working day.

It is to be noted that the plant was fully operational on April 30.

In light of the work carried out on this day, the management decided to allot June 24 as a compensatory day-off.

Contrary to the usual practice, the plant and its affiliated offices will remain open for business on June 25.

An official declaration regarding the holiday for this day will be issued in due course.

All department heads have received directives to inform their respective team members about the necessity to report to work on June 25, despite it being a Sunday.
