The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has announced several holidays in June, impacting banking operations in Jharkhand with a total of eight non-working days.

JAMSHEDPUR – In Jharkhand, banking services will be impacted in the month of June due to a number of upcoming holidays, as stated in the list provided by the Reserve Bank of India (RBI).

On June 1st, banks in Jharkhand and seven other states will be closed due to the Lok Sabha elections. The states affected include Haryana, Uttar Pradesh, Delhi, West Bengal, Bihar, Jammu and Kashmir, and Odisha.

In addition, banks will not be open on Sundays that fall on June 2nd, 9th, 16th, 23rd, and 30th.

Additionally, we will be observing the second and fourth Saturdays of the month, specifically June 8th and 22nd, as holidays.

In addition, it has been announced that June 17th will be observed as a holiday for Bakrid.

During the month of June, banks in Jharkhand will be closed for a total of eight days. This closure will have an impact on banking operations and customer services.

These closures will have an impact on customers who depend on in-person banking services.

We kindly request customers to plan their banking activities accordingly in order to minimize any inconvenience.

The RBI’s announcement is intended to ensure that national events and important holidays are conducted smoothly.

Banking services such as ATMs, online banking, and mobile banking will continue to be available to a certain extent. However, transactions that require visiting a branch may be impacted.

We suggest that customers take care of any necessary banking transactions before the holidays start.

The RBI regularly releases holiday notifications to keep the public informed and ensure that banking services are not significantly affected.

This month’s holidays are a time when we come together to celebrate important national events and religious festivities.
