Tata Steel Training Centre cadets brings laurel

Won 24 medals during the 22nd Jharkhand State Table Tennis Championship.

Jamshedpur: Tata Steel Training Center students representing East Singhbhum District Team conquered total 24 medals in different age category during the 22nd Jharkhand State Table Tennis Championship, bringing laurels to the Centre.

The Championship was held at Ramgarh from January 3-7, 2023.

The team participated in 16 events winning seven Gold, four Silver and 13 Bronze medals.

Notably, around 40 percent students from Training Center (East Singhbhum) have been selected to represent State in National Championship under different age group. Total 12 boys and 11 girls participated in the championship from training center as East Singhbhum district team .

Mukul Vinayak Choudhary, Chief Sports Excellence Centre congratulated all the winners. Coach Apurba Dasgupta and senior player and sports officer Dinesh Rakshit were also present during an interaction session.
