SERAIKELA – Local residents, witnessing a distressing scene, mobilized the 108 ambulance service to assist the victims of a severe road mishap near Dugni School turn.

The incident, highlighting the persistent dangers of the black spot zone despite the presence of a police investigation barricade, underscores the need for improved road safety measures.

Authorities have long been concerned about the high-speed traffic in this area, known for frequent accidents, yet effective control measures remain elusive.

In the wake of the collision, Sohail Ansari and Shambhu Mahato were rushed to Sadar Hospital Seraikela, illustrating the critical role of emergency services in such crises.

The accident’s impact was so severe that it resulted in significant injuries to both parties involved, with Ansari’s condition being particularly grave.

Sohail Ansari, en route to his workplace, and Shambhu Mahato, a local teacher, became the unfortunate victims of a collision that threw Mahato’s vehicle off course and shattered Ansari’s bike.

The Maxximo vehicle’s driver seized the moment to escape the scene, leaving behind a trail of chaos and concern among the bystanders.

Local eyewitness accounts describe the moment of impact as devastating, emphasizing the urgent need for more stringent traffic regulations.

The collision led to serious injuries for a 20-year-old biker and a 40-year-old Maximo passenger, highlighting the dire consequences of traffic accidents on local roads.
