Mason Dies, Another Injured in Truck Accident Near Baharagora Maheshpur Chowk

Gangadhar Rana Succumbs to Injuries; Rameshwar Munda Referred for Advanced Treatment

Gangadhar Rana, a 33-year-old mason from Nutandih village, died after being hit by a truck near Maheshpur Chowk in the Baharagora police station area on Friday night.

JAMSHEDPUR – In a tragic incident, Gangadhar Rana, a mason from Nutandih village, lost his life after being struck by a truck near Maheshpur Chowk in Baharagora on Friday night.

Rameshwar Munda, a resident of Asanbani village, was also seriously injured in the accident.

Upon receiving information about the incident, the police arrived at the scene, took custody of Gangadhar Rana’s body, and sent it for post-mortem.

The truck involved in the accident has been seized, and an investigation has commenced.

According to reports, Gangadhar Rana and Rameshwar Munda were returning home on a bicycle after completing masonry work when they were hit by the truck while crossing the road.

Both were severely injured and rushed to the Community Health Center for treatment.

Doctors declared Gangadhar Rana dead after examination.

Rameshwar Munda received first aid and was referred to Odisha for advanced treatment.

The incident has left the local community in shock, mourning the loss of Gangadhar Rana and praying for the recovery of Rameshwar Munda.
