Mukul Mishra of BJM flays Banna Gupta and BJP Leaders for Not helping VHP Workers jailed in Jamshedpur Kadma Violence Case

Jamshedpur: Mukul Mishra, the Convenor of BJM Jamshedpur West, has criticized both Banna Gupta, the State Health Minister, and the BJP leaders of Raghubar Das camp in Jamshedpur, for not doing anything for the VHP workers who have been sent to jail.

In a press release on Thursday, Mukul Mishra flayed both Banna Gupta as well as the city BJP leaders of the Raghubar Das camp.

Mukul Mishra said that Banna Gupta’s silence after five days of the Kadma Shastri Nagar violence case is noticeable.

Mukul Mishra

He questioned why the Minister did not come ahead to take care of the innocent VHP youths who have been sent to jail. He wondered why even those did not come out to help the innocent youths who were celebrating the Hindu New Year Yatra with Banna Gupta and were busy declaring him as ‘Hindu Hriday Samrat’.

Mukul Mishra also criticized the Raghubar-supporter camp of BJP leaders like Gunjan Yadav and Rambabu Tiwari for not helping VHP workers and said that they were the people who were giving Hindutva certificates to Banna Gupta.

Mukul Mishra, convener of the BJM Jamshedpur West, launched a scathing attack on Banna Gupta and said that the State Health Minister had a change of heart and became a new saffron-sporting leader during the New Year Yatra program organized at Mango Dimna Chowk. BJP’s current district president Gunjan Yadav, former district president Rambabu Tiwari, and present state Organization General Secretary Karmaveer Singh had declared him ‘Hindu Hriday Samrat’ and these were the people who were said to be the biggest well-wishers of Hindus.

However, Mukul Mishra further added, in the recent Kadma Shastri Nagar violence case, the administration arrested innocent VHP workers and sent them to jail. However, the so-called Hindu Hriday Samrat Minister Banna Gupta and those who gave them the certificate of Hindutva, Gunjan Yadav and Rambabu Tiwari, have not appeared anywhere in support of arrested Hindu activists. They have not even tried to meet or contact them or their family members, he said.

He said that as the representative of the Jamshedpur West assembly, Banna Gupta has a moral responsibility to work for the people of his area and establish mutual coordination and harmony between them.

However, even after five days of the incident, Minister Banna Gupta has not made any public appearances or tried to meet any community members or give any message.

He said that it is clear from this that the Minister wants to remain uncontroversial by keeping himself out of this matter and wants to create a false pretense of being a ‘Rahnuma’ of a particular community as well as of being a benefactor of the Hindu community.

Mukul Mishra has urged Minister Banna Gupta to clarify his role in this whole matter in front of the people of the city.
