Ram Janmotsav Celebrations Underway at 160 places in Jamshedpur: VHP

Jamshedpur: The Ram Janm Utsav is being celebrated in all 13 areas of Jamshedpur city, on the call made by the Vishwa Hindu Parishad.

The celebrations would continue till 10th of April. The celebrations, which began on 6th April, are continuing in small settlements across the city with various programs related to Bhagwan Shri Ram.

Vishwa Hindu Parishad Jamshedpur Mahanagar District President Ajay Gupta said that the Janm Utsav is being celebrated at 160 places in the city.

He added that the workers are actively participating in the celebrations.

The purpose of this program is to convey the message of Bhagwan Shri Ram to the people, according to Gupta.

During the celebrations, various events related to Bhagwan Shri Ram are being organized.

The festival has been celebrated peacefully so far, without any controversy.

Gupta also referred to a previous controversy on the day of Ram Navami in Jamshedpur and called it a dark chapter in the history of the city.

He thanked the district administration for their efforts in ensuring that no such incident occurred during the Ramnavami festival.

Gupta also appealed to everyone to avoid any such controversies in the future and work towards maintaining Hindu unity in the city.

The festival will continue until 10th April, and the organizers have ensured that all necessary arrangements have been made to celebrate the festival smoothly and without any disruptions, he added.
