Jamshedpur Akharas Unite for Peaceful Festival Celebrations
A significant step towards a harmonious Ram Navami celebration in Jamshedpur has been taken with the formation of the Jamshedpur Central Ram Navami Akhara Committee. The new committee aims to serve as a bridge between the district administration and all Akhara committees, addressing challenges such as electricity, roads, and cleanliness.
JAMSHEDPUR – Arun Singh has been elected the President of the Central Ram Navami Akhara Committee, while Abhay Singh has been named the Chief Patron of the committee.
Soon after the committee was formed, the new President Arun Singh pledged the Jamshedpur Central Ram Navami Akhara Committee’s commitment to liaising with the district administration to address issues faced by Akhara Committees.
Chief Patron Abhay Singh called for a peaceful celebration of Ram Navami, urging learning from past incidents and cooperation with the administration.
The committee appointed Shambhu Trivedi as the executive president, Vijay Tiwari as Vice President, and Praveen Sethi as General Secretary, among others, highlighting its structured approach to addressing challenges.
Key members such as Suman Aggarwal, Panna Singh Janghel, Dr. Santosh, and others were appointed as patrons, reinforcing the committee’s leadership.
Arun Singh was unanimously elected as the central president, with Abhay Singh appointed as the chief patron, signaling unity among Akharas.
The formation of the Jamshedpur Central Ram Navami Akhara Committee, proposed by Suman Aggarwal and supported unanimously, marks a collaborative effort to ensure a successful festival.
With participation from licensees of 90 Akharas, the meeting at Kashidih Durga Temple underlines the community’s dedication to a peaceful and well-organized Ram Navami.
