Flower Show in Jamshedpur from Dec 30 to Jan 4

Flower Show to remain open from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m., Rs. 10 entry ticket for adults at Gopal Maidan, cultural programmes too will be held

Jamshedpur: Jamshedpur Horticulture Society will organize a flower show this year from December 30 to January 4 in the city.

Participants from various places including Jamshedpur, Kalinganagar and Kharagpur will participate in this six-day event to be held at Gopal Maidan.

Horticulture Society chairperson Ruchi Narendran and president Sumit Nupur revealed the programme and other details in a press conference at Beldih Club Auditorium Sunday evening.

They said that this year’s theme is ‘Prosperity From Greenery, Our Responsibility’.

Ruchi Narendran said that no plastic bags or pots will be used during the event.

In this four-day event, cultural events will be organized every evening. She said that colorful programs will be organized and most will see participation from school children.

Apart from this, there will be many other programs including sit and draw.

She said that the event will be held at Gopal Maidan from 9 am to 9 pm and an entry ticket of Rs 10 will be charged for adults above 10 years of age.

A mascot based on the theme of the flower show was also unveiled by Ruchi Narendran on this occasion.
