Corona death toll remains static at 375, 6 new cases on Saturday

Jamshedpur: The total death toll due to coronavirus in Jamshedpur and East Singhbhum remains static at 375 as no death due to the pandemic was reported from anywhere in the city and the district on Saturday.

According to official data, 6 new cases of coronavirus infection were detected in East Singhbhum district taking the total number of infections in the district to 18,056.

On the other hand, 8 patients were also cured and discharged. Total recoveries for the district have now reached 17,627.

For now, the district has only 54 active cases of coronavirus infection.

According to official data, the recovery rate for the district has now reached 97.66%, while the mortality rate hovers around 2.08%. The positivity rate for the district is 3.39%.
