Sonari BJP workers take out bike rally to pay tribute to Late Atal Bihari Vajpayee

Jamshedpur: Sonari mandal unit of BJP paid tributes to the former Prime Minister of India Atal Bihari Vajpayee and took out a bike rally in Sonari.

Atal Bihari Vajpayee’s birth anniversary was also celebrated by BJP workers and supporters on a grand scale.

BJP’s Sonari unit organised a special programme on the day. Floral tributes were paid to his picture in Sonari and his contribution to the nation was remembered by all.

A series of programmes were also organised, especially one at Atal Chowk in Sonari.

BJP workers and supporters also took out a bike rally on the occasion. Hundreds of supporters of BJP took part in the bike rally.

Later, the BJP Mandal President of Sonari Prashant Poddar said that a bike rally was taken out in memory of late Atal Bihari Vajpayee from Sonari Atal Chowk. The rally went around the entire Sonari area and then concluded at Sonari office of the party. Later, flowers were offered at Late Atal Bihari Vajpyee’s picture in the office to pay respects to him.

The former president of Sonari Mandal unit of the party, Gopal Lahiri said that Atal Bihari Vajpyee was like a star on the horizon of Indian politics. He said that he was a great politician and philosopher as well as a mass leader. He said that every booth committee is cutting a cake on the occasion.

Those who took part in the bike rally included Gopal Lahiri, Mahavir Singh, Sunil Singh and Rajesh Shukla.
