233 new cases detected, recovery rate 97.03%, mortality rate 0.88%
Ranchi: Coronavirus has claimed 2 more lives on Tuesday in Jharkhand. With this, the total number of deaths caused by the pandemic in the state has reached 955.
According to official data, on Tuesday, 233 new cases have been detected in the state. With this the total number of infections in the state has reached 1,07,921 till Tuesday.
On the other hand, on Tuesday itself, 191 patients were also cured and discharged from different hospitals of the state. Two persons have reportedly died.
The state has now a total of 2,242 active cases of coronavirus infection.
As per official data, till Tuesday, 39,46,256 samples have been tested in the state. Out o these, 1,07,921 samples have been found positive. Till date, 1,04,724 patients have been cured in the state.
The recovery rate in the state has now reached 97.03%, while the mortality rate for the state is still at 0.88%.
East Singhbhum remains the worst-affected district in the state in terms of pandemic impact. However, on Tuesday, no new deaths were reported from East Singhbhum.
One death was reported from Bokaro, while the other death was reported from Ranchi.
