Extensive Covid-19 test drive launched in Jamshedpur

Jamshedpur: The district administration has launched an extensive test drive for Covid-19 in the entire district.

20 such test centres are already operational in the city. In the entire district 80 Test Centres have been made operational, out of which 20 are in the urban areas.

In order to contain the spread of the COVID 19 virus, a mega testing drive is being run to provide rapid results and to identify infected persons so that their isolation can be done to stop the further spread of the virus. @JharkhandCMO @HemantSorenJMM

These test centres have been opened in schools and community buildings in different areas of the city. Anyone can go to such centres and get himself or herself tested for Corona.

A Covid Test Centre in Jamshedpur.

The test centres launched earlier are also functioning. But, those centres were getting crowded.

At many places, fees were being charged for testing.

But now the state government has launched special test centres for Covid-19 all over the state. These centres are testing for Covid-19 without any charges.

The main aim of the project:-
✅ Identifying infected persons through rapid test
✅ isolating them to contain the spread of the virus &
✅ testing of 10,000 persons in mission mode.
