Celebrations Erupt Across Party Lines in Ranchi Following Lok Sabha Election Results

JMM and BJP Workers Rejoice, Congress Sees Improved Performance

In an unprecedented display of unity, leaders and workers from both the NDA and INDIA alliances were seen celebrating the outcome of the Lok Sabha General Elections 2024 outside their respective party offices in Ranchi, marking a unique moment in India’s democratic history.

RANCHI – The central office of the Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM) witnessed a vibrant celebration as party workers applied gulal in the colors of their party flag and shared laddus in the presence of the Central General Secretary.

Supriyo Bhattacharya, the JMM Central General Secretary, declared the election results in favor of the India Alliance in the state, predicting a strong start with 29 seats in the upcoming assembly elections, bolstered by the Mahagathbandhan’s clean sweep of all five Scheduled Tribe reserved seats.

Simultaneously, the BJP office in Harmu was abuzz with excitement as workers burst firecrackers and exchanged sweets, elated by the NDA’s majority victory.

The BJP supporters expressed their confidence in Narendra Modi’s third term as Prime Minister, hailing the party’s historic achievement.

JMM and BJP Celebrate Their Victories

The JMM workers celebrated their success in the Lok Sabha elections by applying gulal and feeding each other laddus at the party’s central office.

The celebration took place in the presence of the Central General Secretary, Supriyo Bhattacharya, who declared the election results in favor of the India Alliance in the state.

Bhattacharya predicted that the India Alliance would start with 29 seats in the upcoming assembly elections, as the Mahagathbandhan had won all five Scheduled Tribe reserved seats.

Meanwhile, the BJP workers burst firecrackers and exchanged sweets outside the state BJP office in Harmu, excited by the NDA’s majority victory.

The BJP supporters wished for Narendra Modi to become the Prime Minister for the third time, stating that the party was set to create history.

Congress Witnesses Improved Performance

The Jharkhand Pradesh Congress office also saw celebrations, with the state president and other leaders bursting firecrackers and congratulating each other on the party’s improved performance in both Jharkhand and the country.

The Mahagathbandhan, which had won 2 seats in the state in 2019, managed to secure 5 seats this time around.

Ghulam Ahmed Mir, the state Congress in-charge, praised the people of the country for fulfilling their responsibility in protecting the Constitution and reservation.

He assured that the India Alliance would live up to the trust bestowed upon them by the people and criticized the alleged harassment faced by the Congress at the hands of various agencies before and during the elections.

Mir commended the ideologically aware people of Jharkhand for taking thoughtful steps to protect their constitutional rights and expressed gratitude to the leaders and workers of all allied parties of the India Alliance for their contribution to the election result.
