JAMSHEDPUR – Sakchi Police Station in-charge Anand Mishra completed his first full marathon at Mumbai.
Local organizations felicitated the inspector upon return. He previously ran half marathons.
“The experience was incredible,” a marathon participant stated. Security remained tight throughout.
Race Highlights
Eritrean Berhane Tesfay won the men’s event. He finished in 2 hours 11 minutes.
Meanwhile, Anish Thapa led Indian runners. He clocked 2 hours 17 minutes.
Event Details
Maharashtra Governor flagged off the race. The event started from CST Mumbai.
Moreover, various categories attracted participants. These included senior citizens and differently-abled runners.
