Corona takes 2 lives in Jharkhand on Wednesday, State death tally now 38, new cases 316

Ranchi: Corona killed two persons in Jharkhand on Wednesday taking the total death toll due to this viral disease in the state to 38.

On Wednesday, 316 more people tested positive for Covid-19 in the state taking the total infections to 4562. However, 57 persons were also cured and discharged from hospitals.

The total number of infections in the state have now reached 4562 with today’s 316 new cases. However, the number of active cases is only 2,039 as 2,485 persons have already been cured and discharged from hospitals in different districts of the state.

Out of the two deaths reported on Tuesday, one relates to East Singhbhum district where one woman died in Jamshedpur. Another person has also died in another district in Jharkhand.
