RANCHI – A Kudmi Sena delegation met Jharkhand Governor Santosh Kumar Gangwar at Raj Bhavan on Tuesday.

The delegation extended an invitation to the Governor. They requested his presence as chief guest. Moreover, the Bandana festival occurs on November 23.

The Kudmi community organizes the celebration at Regal Ground. The traditional festival holds cultural significance for community. Furthermore, preparations are underway for the event.

Governor Gangwar responded positively to the invitation. He stated he would make every effort. Additionally, his presence would honor the community gathering.

Harmohan Mahto attended the meeting at Raj Bhavan. He represents Jharkhand movement activists in the state. Besides, his presence signified political support for event.

Shailendra Mahto participated as Kudmi Sena’s central president. He led the delegation during the meeting. Meanwhile, Sheetal Ohdar also joined the team.

Ohdar serves as Kudmi Vikash Morcha’s central president. Pinki Mahto accompanied the delegation as well. However, all members emphasized community unity throughout discussion.

The Bandana festival represents an important cultural celebration. Community members observe traditional rituals during festivities. On the other hand, livestock receives special attention.

Regal Ground will host the main gathering. The venue accommodates large community assemblies easily. Furthermore, arrangements are being finalized for attendees.

Community festivals play vital roles in Jamshedpur. Previous celebrations attracted significant participation from residents. Besides, Karam festival witnessed massive turnouts earlier this year.

The Kudmi society plans multiple activities for November 23. Traditional performances will mark the occasion. Additionally, cultural programs showcase community heritage effectively.
