Indian Red Cross Society Inaugurates 726th Eye Camp at Bagbera
Eye camp initiated under CSR program by UCIL at Ram Manohar Lohia Netralaya with eye checkups.

JAMSHEDPUR – The Indian Red Cross Society, East Singhbhum, along with Ram Manohar Lohia Netralaya, inaugurated the 726th eye camp at Bagbera Thana Chowk as part of the CSR program by Uranium Corporation of India Limited (UCIL).
The camp commenced with eye checkups conducted by renowned ophthalmologist Dr. B.P. Singh and his medical team. They examined 32 patients and selected 18 for cataract surgery and lens implantation.
"Providing eye care to the underprivileged is a vital part of our mission," said Dr. B.P. Singh. "We are committed to restoring vision and improving the quality of life for these patients."
Upcoming Cataract Surgeries
The cataract surgeries and lens implantations will be performed on Sunday, June 30, at the operation theater of Ram Manohar Lohia Netralaya by Dr. B.P. Singh, Dr. Poonam Singh, Dr. Vivek Kedia, Dr. Rashi, and their medical team.
The eye checkup event saw the presence of honorary secretary of the Indian Red Cross Society, East Singhbhum, Vijay Kumar Singh, along with Ram Manohar Lohia Netralaya President Balamukund Goyal, and activists Rakesh Mishra, Ashok Kumar Ghoshal, Radheshyam Kumar, Ashish Kumar, Prakash Bhanu Mahato, and Shyam Prasad.
