JAMSHEDPUR – The Karam Festival, organized by Kudmi Sena at Gopal Maidan in Bistupur, celebrated nature worship and environmental conservation.

Bihar’s Rural Development Minister Shravan Kumar graced the occasion as the chief guest.

Meanwhile, youth leader Ratan Mahto attended as a distinguished guest.

The festival emphasized the significance of nature worship and gratitude.

"Karam Parv conveys a powerful message about environmental protection," remarked a knowledgeable source.

In light of the current environmental crisis, the event urged all sections of society to commit to safeguarding nature.

Moreover, the celebration aimed to ensure a healthy and green future for coming generations.

The organizers honored several individuals with the "Kudmi Ratna" award for their contributions.

Dr. Alok Ranjan, Dr. Poonam Mehta, and Dr. Vijay Kumar were among the recipients.

Furthermore, 25 individuals received special recognition for their ongoing efforts in community development.

Shailendra Mahto, the president of Kudmi Sena, skillfully conducted the program.

On the other hand, Bindu Mahanta and her team from Odisha enthralled the audience with traditional Jhumur songs and dances.

The young members of the community enthusiastically participated in the festivities.

In addition, guests and visitors were welcomed with plant saplings, reinforcing the event’s environmental theme.
