JAMSHEDPUR – Jamshedpur West MLA Saryu Roy laid the foundation stone for a new bridge on Kapali Nala near Awais Karni Mosque in Zakirnagar, Mango, on Tuesday.
The bridge will be built at a cost of ₹1.01 crore. The project is funded through the Rural Development Special Division. Local residents had been demanding the bridge for a long time, and the foundation laying has brought relief to the community. Construction is expected to begin soon.
After the ceremony, people from the area expressed happiness over the development. Many residents, including Pappu Singh, Pintu Singh, Kulvinder Singh Pannu, Veeru Singh, Bala Prasad, Bhola Singh, Vaibhav Singh, Chhattu Rawat, Neeru Singh, Brajkishor Singh, Nisar, Firoz Khan, Laton, Shakir, and Sanju, were present at the occasion.
