JAMSHEDPUR – Former Jharkhand Chief Minister Raghubar Das visited Jamshedpur for the first time after stepping down as Odisha’s Governor. Das was welcomed with enthusiasm by BJP workers, local leaders, and supporters.

Warm Reception in Jamshedpur

BJP MLAs and ex-legislators, including Naveen Jaiswal, Amar Bauri, and Bhanu Pratap Shahi, joined party workers to extend their greetings to Das. Addressing the gathering, Das expressed deep gratitude to Jamshedpur’s people, calling the city’s soil the foundation of his political journey.

Reflections on Governorship

Das shared his experiences as Odisha’s Governor, mentioning his 14-month tenure during which he traveled to all 30 districts of the state. “Leaving Jamshedpur was painful, but Odisha blessed me with immense love and support,” he said. Das also emphasized his efforts to address citizens’ grievances during his governorship.

Future Plans

Das pledged to address Jamshedpur’s pressing issues, such as water supply and infrastructure, in collaboration with local leaders. He also hinted at formally rejoining the BJP soon, stating, “Before Kharmas ends, I will officially be back in the BJP family.” Das assured his readiness to shoulder any responsibility given by the party.
