JAMSHEDPUR – Kudmi Samaj leaders will hold a key meeting tomorrow to finalize plans for their Bandna-Sohrai Parab scheduled for November 23 at Regal Ground.

The meeting, organized by Kudmi Sena’s national committee, will take place at Shaheed Nirmal Mahato Guest House near Jubilee Park Gate from 4:30 p.m. on November 5. It aims to coordinate preparations for the major cultural event celebrating traditional harvest rituals of the Kudmi community.

According to the organizers, the Bandna-Sohrai Parab will showcase the community’s vibrant folk culture through dance, music, and traditional rituals. The event is expected to draw large crowds from across Jharkhand and neighboring states.

Moreover, the November 5 meeting will discuss logistical arrangements, including security, stage setup, and guest participation. Press representatives have been invited to cover the proceedings.

A member of the organizing team stated that the community wants to highlight its cultural identity through such festivals. “Our goal is to unite Kudmi people and preserve ancestral traditions,” a local representative said.

In addition, the Kudmi Sena plans to invite regional artists and cultural figures to the November 23 celebration. The program will likely include a showcase of traditional attire and food stalls featuring local cuisine.
