Jharkhand’s Job Drive: 2,500 Youths Get Private Sector Offers
CM Soren Distributes Offers After 75% Local Reservation Law Success
Hemant Soren, Jharkhand’s Chief Minister, champions local employment with 2,500 job offers in private sector, highlighting challenges in government job provision.
RANCHI – Chief Minister Hemant Soren, in a landmark move, has successfully facilitated the employment of 2,500 youths in the private sector.
This achievement comes amidst a backdrop of shrinking job opportunities in the central government sectors due to widespread outsourcing.
Soren emphasized the state’s focus on leveraging local talent, tailoring schemes to align with the strengths of Adivasi and Moolvasi communities.
He highlighted the significant role of the 75% reservation law for locals in private jobs, which has been instrumental in this success.
The Chief Minister acknowledged the heightened pressure on the government to create employment opportunities.
During a function in Ranchi, Soren congratulated the youths who received their offer letters, marking a positive step in their professional journeys.
He also pointed out the adverse impacts of bank mergers and privatization of Public Sector Undertakings (PSUs) on job availability.
The Chief Minister’s remarks included a subtle critique of the Centre’s policies, which he suggests have contributed to job scarcity.
The event, held at Tana Bhagat Indoor Stadium, became a testament to the state’s commitment to fostering employment in the private sector.
