Congress Committee Prepares Major Movement for Unorganized Workers’ Rights in Jamshedpur

District President Anand Bihari Dubey leads organizational meeting to address worker issues

JAMSHEDPUR – East Singhbhum District Congress Committee organized a meeting to strengthen worker organizations and prepare for major movements addressing unorganized sector issues.

The organizational meeting took place at Congress office Tilak Library. District President Anand Bihari Dubey chaired the session at 12:00 PM. Officials from Kamgar Karmchari Congress district committee participated in the discussions.

Dubey welcomed all KKC officials during the gathering. He verified the district committee composition initially. The district president requested KKC District President Baldev Singh to expedite appointments. 18 block presidents need immediate designation.

However, the committee plans extensive gate meetings at company premises. KKC will organize assemblies addressing unorganized workers’ concerns. Meanwhile, the organization aims to expand membership significantly.

Social media department formation received priority attention. WhatsApp groups will facilitate better communication among members. Gate meetings at all company locations are scheduled.

Moreover, the committee will compile worker problems comprehensively. Officials will receive demand letters after issue documentation. Company authorities will face pressure for problem resolution.

Banners and pamphlets promoting worker interests require immediate preparation. Workers need awareness about their rights and duties. East Singhbhum District Congress Committee promises full support throughout.

On the other hand, district and block level committees need strengthening. Congress leadership will provide necessary assistance for organizational development.

KKC District President Baldev Singh addressed the meeting participants. He assured complete implementation of Dubey’s guidelines. Continuous efforts will strengthen the organization further.

Healthcare concerns dominated significant discussion time. ESIC hospital expansion became a major demand point. Unorganized workers require better medical facilities in Jamshedpur.

Industrial area status brings unique challenges for workers. Organized and unorganized sectors both contribute significantly. However, healthcare infrastructure remains inadequate for worker needs.

In addition, future movements will demand better healthcare provisions. KKC plans major agitations with specific demand letters. Systematic healthcare arrangements need immediate government attention.

Sanjay Singh Azad, Vice President, managed the meeting proceedings. Several prominent leaders attended the organizational gathering.

Besides Baldev Singh, other attendees included important officials. Sanjeev Kumar Singh served as General Secretary. Manish Chandravanshi represented Jamshedpur city president position.

Furthermore, Shivam Chaudhary attended as Mango division president. Rakesh Kumar Gupta participated as state organization secretary. Senior Congress leader Samanta Kumar joined as state secretary.

The meeting also witnessed participation from district officials. Arun Kumar Singh and Ashok Kumar Singh represented district leadership. Raj Kishore Prasad contributed as district general secretary.

Additional participants included Sushil Ghosh and Rajgiri Singh Yadav. Arun Barik, Virendra Pandey, and Sunny Singh were present. Nikhil Kumar completed the leadership representation.
