RANCHI – Former Jharkhand Chief Minister Raghubar Das announced his return to BJP after resigning as Odisha Governor.

A seasoned BJP leader outlined Das’s commitment. “His return will strengthen the party’s presence in Jharkhand,” the leader remarked.

Political Comeback

Das expressed readiness to serve as a common worker. He met various political figures ahead of his formal rejoining.

Meanwhile, he paid a courtesy visit to Governor Santosh Gangwar. The meeting marked his re-entry into state politics.

Moreover, Das visited ailing BJP leader Karia Munda. The former deputy speaker is currently undergoing treatment.

Focus on Tribal Issues

Das highlighted concerns about tribal communities. “Religious conversion threatens tribal culture,” a party source quoted him.

Furthermore, he plans extensive village visits. These tours will focus on tribal welfare issues.

Future Plans

The former chief minister emphasized accessibility. “CM means common man,” Das stated emphatically.

In addition, he pledged unconditional service to the party. His previous anti-conversion bill might see revival.

The BJP welcomes his return enthusiastically. Local party units prepare for his formal rejoining ceremony.
