JAMSHEDPUR – Local social worker Chanchal Bhatia was honored with the prestigious Atal Tiranga Samman for his exceptional community service initiatives.
The award ceremony took place at the NDMC Convention Centre in New Delhi. Member of Parliament Manoj Tiwari presented the accolade to Bhatia.
Moreover, the recognition included a commemorative memento and a traditional shawl. A local community leader remarked, “This award celebrates years of dedicated service to society.”
The Atal Tiranga Samman highlights exceptional public welfare work across India. Furthermore, only 30 individuals nationwide receive this honor annually.

Bhatia has established multiple learning centers for underprivileged children in Jamshedpur. Additionally, his organization provides educational materials to over 100 students annually.
