JAMSHEDPUR – Retired Block Education Extension Officer (BEEO) Vinay Kumar Dubey, during his farewell ceremony at Tulsi Bhawan’s Prayag Hall, emphasized the importance of principles over appearances. Organized by district teachers, the event celebrated his career and dedication to the education sector.

Commitment to Integrity and Responsibility

Speaking at the ceremony, Dubey reflected on his journey from a teacher to a senior officer. “I never focused on appearances but upheld values. I fulfilled my responsibilities with integrity, first as a teacher and later as an officer,” he remarked.

Dubey shared how his experiences as a teacher shaped his expectations and decisions as a BEEO. “Once a teacher, always a teacher,” he concluded.

Honoring an Exemplary Career

Prabhat Khabar’s Resident Editor, Sanjay Mishra, lauded Dubey as a rare personality of integrity. “In an age where a 24-carat gold coin is hard to find, Dubey’s character shines like pure gold,” he said, urging society to highlight such honest individuals to inspire others.

Former colleagues and teachers, including Shashi Bhushan Kumar, Sanjay Kumar, Dilip Prasad, and others, reminisced about their experiences with Dubey, praising his contributions as a teacher, trainer, and BEEO.

A Memorable Farewell

The event featured heartfelt speeches, coordinated by Arvind Tiwari, with Mukesh Kumar delivering the vote of thanks. Teachers turned out in large numbers to honor Dubey, reflecting the profound respect he earned throughout his career.
