MEDININAGAR – Christians across Palamu district celebrated Christmas with traditional fervor as churches witnessed large gatherings of visitors, especially young people.
The Queen of Peace Church on Station Road saw a festive atmosphere throughout Wednesday. Moreover, the church premises transformed into a fair-like setting.
“The beautifully decorated nativity scene attracted continuous crowds,” a church official said. Additionally, many lit candles before Mother Mary’s statue.
Citywide Celebrations
Christian families created nativity scenes in their homes. “We pray for peace and prosperity through these celebrations,” a local resident shared.
Meanwhile, the Union Church and Redma CNI Church also drew visitors. Furthermore, their nativity displays remained crowded until late evening.
Youth Participation
Young people formed the majority of visitors at all churches. “This year’s celebration saw unprecedented youth participation,” a church committee member noted.
The spiritual atmosphere enhanced the festivities. However, the focus remained on prayers and peaceful celebrations.
