JAMSHEDPUR – In a shocking incident, Anjali Kumari, wife of Dr. Pankaj Kumar, was found hanging at her residence in Durga Apartment under Parsudih police station area early Wednesday morning.

Anjali Kumari, aged around 43, reportedly took the extreme step at around 4 AM. Her husband, Dr. Pankaj, discovered her hanging when he woke up for his morning routine. She was immediately rushed to Tata Main Hospital (TMH), where doctors declared her brought dead.

Family Issues and Investigation

Preliminary reports suggest that Anjali was struggling with depression due to family issues. However, the exact reason for her suicide remains unclear. Following the incident, police sent the body for postmortem and launched an investigation into the matter.

Dr. Pankaj Kumar, a well-known city doctor, also serves at Brahmananda Hospital and runs his own very popular private clinic in Parsudih. He gained immense respect and popularity for his dedicated service during the COVID-19 pandemic and is known for his kind behaviour with his patients..
