JAMSHEDPUR – The steel city experiences a significant temperature drop with chilly winds intensifying the cold conditions.

The weather department anticipates a strong La Nina effect. Moreover, eastern winds are amplifying the cold conditions.

In contrast, daytime temperatures remain moderate. Meanwhile, fog blankets various areas during morning hours.

The minimum temperature touched 15.8 degrees Celsius. However, the maximum stood at 28.8 degrees Celsius.

"Weather patterns indicate sustained cold conditions ahead," stated a meteorological expert.

Furthermore, neighboring Chaibasa recorded 30.4 degrees Celsius. Meanwhile, Garhwa witnessed the lowest at 11.5 degrees.

Healthcare facilities report increasing concerns. Besides, MGM Hospital observes a surge in respiratory cases.

Moreover, the dual impact of cold mornings and warm afternoons affects public health. "We’re seeing a 30% rise in cold-related cases," noted a medical professional.

Winter markets showcase vibrant activity. Additionally, devotees purchase warm clothes for temple deities.

Furthermore, garments from Mathura and Vrindavan arrive at local markets. Meanwhile, prices range from Rs. 30 to Rs. 1,500.

In addition, the Agricultural Meteorological Department predicts favorable conditions for winter crops. Besides, wheat cultivation may benefit from current temperatures.
