JAMSHEDPUR – Jagatguru Shankaracharya Swami Avimukteshwarananda Saraswati Maharaj addressed a gathering, promoting his campaign to declare the cow as the ‘Mother of the Nation’.
The address followed a traditional Paduka Puja performed by Indrajit Mallick.
Moreover, the campaign, which began on September 22, 2024, in Ayodhya, has gained significant momentum.
The movement has traveled through most northeastern states, establishing the Gopratishtha flag along its path.
Furthermore, a major breakthrough came from Maharashtra’s Chief Minister Eknath Sambhaji Shinde.
Shinde declared the Desi (Rama) cow as the state’s mother and presented a related cabinet proposal.

He asserted that cow protection is crucial for the nation’s moral and spiritual wellbeing.
The spiritual leader called on devotees to support the movement actively.

On the other hand, the campaign’s journey has been extensive, covering multiple regions.
The yatra arrived in Sonari, Jamshedpur on Thursday, marking another milestone.
