JAMSHEDPUR – Renowned writer Mamchand Jamshedpuri’s poetry collection “Muththi Bhar Vataas” was released at a grand ceremony at Tulsi Bhavan on Monday.
The event, organized by Singhbhum District Hindi Sahitya Sammelan and Tulsi Bhavan, saw prominent literary figures in attendance. Tulsi Bhavan trustee Arun Kumar Tiwari chaired the ceremony, while Dr. Angad Tiwari, Director of Arka Jain University, graced the occasion as the chief guest. Special guest Sandeep Murarka and Upasana Sinha of the Literary Committee conducted the program.
The ceremony began with the lighting of the lamp, followed by a Saraswati Vandana presented by Dr. Veena Pandey Bharati. Delivering the welcome address, honorary secretary of Tulsi Bhavan, Dr. Prasenjit Tiwari, set the tone for the event.
Speaking about “Muththi Bhar Vataas,” Divyendu Tripathi highlighted that the book contains 700 couplets focusing on contemporary, emotional, and cultural themes. He added that the book beautifully captures elements of romance and tradition.
Special guest Sandeep Murarka described Jamshedpuri as “a silent book, filled with words yet calm in presence.” Chief guest Dr. Angad Tiwari praised the writer’s ability to mirror societal happenings in his verses, saying, “Jamshedpuri writes what he observes in society.”
Kailash Nath Sharma ‘Gazipuri’ presented a brief literary introduction of Mamchand Jamshedpuri. Additionally, Dr. Yamuna Tiwari ‘Vyathit’ delivered a poetic tribute to the writer. The event concluded with a vote of thanks delivered by Brajendra Nath Mishra.
Key attendees included Dr. Ajay Kumar Ojha, Neelima Pandey, Juhi Samarpita, Veena Pandey Bharati, Prakash Mehta, and Rajendra Raj, among others. Over 100 literary enthusiasts were present at the occasion.
