DEO, SSP, Rural SP, and other officials attend meeting to discuss critical aspects of election management

The DEO and DM Ananya Mittal held a review meeting to assess the preparations for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections in 2024 at the Chakulia and Dhalbhumgarh block headquarters. The meeting was attended by the Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP), Rural Superintendent of Police (SP), and other officials.

JAMSHEDPUR – The DEO and DM Ananya Mittal held a review meeting to assess the preparations for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections in 2024 at the Chakulia and Dhalbhumgarh block headquarters.

During the meeting, various critical aspects of election management were discussed in detail, including the identification of critical polling stations, cluster formation, route charts, communication plans, intermediate strong rooms, and expenditure sensitive pockets.

The concerned Block Development Officer (BDO) and Circle Officer (CO) were given necessary directions after a thorough review of these points.

The administration also took stock of the availability of minimum basic facilities at the clusters and polling stations to ensure a smooth voting process.

In an effort to increase voter turnout, officials were instructed to run a comprehensive awareness campaign targeting voters in centers that had low voting percentages in the previous elections.

The meeting aimed to identify and address potential challenges and bottlenecks in the election process, ensuring that the Lok Sabha elections in 2024 are conducted efficiently and transparently.
