JAMSHEDPUR – A job fair held at the District Employment Office in Seraikela on Thursday saw 205 candidates shortlisted for various positions.
On September 19, 2024, the District Employment Office cum Model Career Centre, Seraikela, organized a job fair.
Seventeen companies, including Rungta Mines Limited, Ramkrishna Forgings Limited, BMW Industries, BigBasket, and Mittal Motors, participated in the event.
The companies were hiring for roles such as safety supervisor, operator, electrician, fitter, SAP executive, robotic automation engineer, and more.
A total of 205 candidates were shortlisted through an interview-based process.
According to District Employment Officer Alok Kumar Topno, the job fair aimed to connect local talent with private sector opportunities.
He stated, “The fair was a great opportunity for candidates to secure jobs in various industries, and we will continue to organize such events in the future.”
The fair also complied with Jharkhand’s Local Candidates Employment Act 2021 and Rules 2022, ensuring local candidates’ participation.
Major companies like LIC of India, Chhavi Construction, Delhivery Private Limited, Sony Auto, and BN Tractors were also part of the event.
The job fair was open to all, and the entire process was free of cost.
District officials, including Young Professional Ravi Prakash Singh, were present along with the HR managers of the participating companies.
