JAMSHEDPUR – A regional ASISC Declamation Contest showcased students’ public speaking talents at Narbheram Hansraj English School on September 14, 2024.
The event brought together participants from 18 schools in the region.
Students competed in three categories: Sub-Junior, Junior, and Senior.
The contest provided a platform for young orators to demonstrate their skills.
A panel of esteemed judges evaluated the performances.
Jayanti Banerjee Das, an educator with 38 years of experience, served on the judging panel.
Additionally, Anindita Roy, Vice Principal of Jusco School Kadma, participated as a judge.
Dr. Rahul Kumar Shukla, Assistant Professor at XLRI Jamshedpur, completed the panel.
The school’s Principal, Paramita Roy Chaudhury, oversaw the organization of the event.
In the Sub-Junior category, Laiba Hussain from Carmel School, Dhanbad Zone, secured first place.
Meanwhile, Aadrika Mishra from St. Xavier’s School, Bhagalpur Zone, won the Junior category.
Moreover, Soumya Suman from De Nobili School, Koradih, Dhanbad Zone, emerged victorious in the Senior category.
The competition highlighted the importance of effective communication skills among students.
