ED Raids Barkagaon MLA Amba Prasad’s Homes

Search operations intensify at MLA Amba Prasad’s properties

Enforcement Directorate’s search at Barkagaon MLA Amba Prasad’s homes enters second day, seizing evidence and questioning family.

RANCHI – ED’s teams are carrying out their raids at two homes of Barkagaon MLA Amba Prasad.

ED’s presence was first noted at the MLA’s premises on Tuesday morning.

By then, ED had already targeted 15 locations, spanning Barkagaon to Katamdag.

The operation extended into late Tuesday, focusing solely on Amba Prasad’s residences.

This selective scrutiny suggests ED might have unearthed incriminating materials.

MLA Amba Prasad, located in Ranchi, along with her father in Delhi, remains distant from the unfolding events.

Only Nirmala Devi and household staff were found at the MLA’s dwelling during the raids.

Security measures at the raided house have been significantly heightened, barring external entry.

ED continues its examination of seized electronic devices and documents.

Amidst the silence, Nirmala Devi, Amba Prasad’s mother, underwent questioning, further underscoring the probe’s gravity.

Her recent counsel to Amba Prasad on the perils of politics echoes amidst the raid’s tension.

Initially, ED targeted Amba Prasad’s first residence before progressing to the second.

In Hudhudu, Hazaribagh, Amba Prasad owns two homes, both now under ED’s lens.

The team’s arrival at the second house marked an escalation in their meticulous investigation.
