Jharkhand Political Feud: BJP and Congress Accuse Each Other as ED focuses on IAS Officers
Jharkhand political feud escalates as BJP, Congress trade accusations over ED’s scrutiny on IAS officers; corruption allegations take center stage.
Ranchi: In Jharkhand, the BJP and Congress are trading accusations over the Enforcement Directorate’s increasing scrutiny on IAS officers.
The BJP National Vice President Raghubar Das criticized the Hemant government, claiming that the public is aware of the misdeeds of Pooja Singhal and Chhavi Ranjan, and that corruption in the state is rising.

In response, Jharkhand Congress State Spokesperson Rakesh Sinha pointed out that Pooja Singhal’s case occurred during the BJP government’s tenure, involving the MNREGA scam.
He also mentioned Chhavi Ranjan’s case in Sahibganj, where the former DC was accused of illegal tree felling.
He said that despite ED’s current investigation, Raghubar Das had previously given them a clean chit.
